You will have your own reasons for wanting to clean your paving but it probably boils down to two words:
appearance and safety.
To the left is a photograph of one of our more recent undertakings. It has elements of both appearance and safety in its problems.
This picture shows an area of block paving. The paving to the left side
of the picture has been cleaned, whereas the paving on the right hand side
of the picture has not. You will see that the blocks to the lower right hand
side of the picture have extensive moss and weed growth in the joints. The
faces of the blocks are not only dirty but have lumps of white lichen type
growths on them. Towards the top right hand portion of the picture there is
vigorous weed growth in the joints and a layer of slime on the faces of the
blocks making the paving very slippery. Prior to washing, all the paving
looked as it does on the right hand side. The cleaning was achieved with
nothing more than cold water under pressure (3500 psi/215BAR) and a bit of
knowledge and experience on our part. |

You may want to clean your paving for the following reasons:
- Cleaning weeds, moss and other detritus from paved areas prior to putting property on the market
- Clearing up after flooding by foul water, river or similar sources
- Regular cleansing of waste storage areas
- Maintenance of the areas of business premises which the public have access to
- Part of a planned maintenance schedule
- As a response to a Health and Safety audit
Whatever you’re reasons, contact us, we can help.
We welcome the opportunity to quote for your business. There is no charge for a
quotation and no obligation on your part until acceptance. Please note that we
give written quotations and not verbal estimates, there is a difference. See our
contact page for the methods of communicating with us.
All you supply is the water. We supply the rest. We are not tied to taps for
water supply, in-fact our equipment will not work directly from a tap since the
mains pressure is insufficient for our equipments needs. We use an indirect
method of water supply including a bowser for more remote locations. If we can
get a vehicle near it, we can clean it.
When you’ve had your paving cleaned why not
seal it. This will significantly reduce future maintenance costs and keep
that just cleaned look. Please see our sealing page.
